    E22 Ronneby – Nättraby

In this new road project, located in the south of Sweden, a road is upgraded to highway standards. Fuelsave was used during the planning phases of the project to evaluate whether to cancel an old crossing or to upgrade it. Using Fuelsave, the designers could detect how much more fuel would be consumed if the current route was no longer available, meaning some would need to driver longer. The results showed that building the ramp would likely pay off in saved fuel costs. The saved fuel costs were about five times larger than the price of the ramp. This was great news for the road planners, who now had a great argument for keeping an infrastructure that provide good accessibility for the locals, but without Fuelsave likely would have been abolished.
